I thought that was you. You, that beating of my heart when I see the skyline come into view, that nagging at my mind when I open my eyes in the morning and realize the boundless potential at my fingertips, that pulling at my feet when I’ve decided to call it a night but still here that neon sign buzzing, that bass bumping, that chance for mischief.
If you hadn’t noticed, I took the last 2 weeks off from weekend guiding you for the first time in about 3 years. And even as I was leaving my footprints among 3 continents and in 5 cities over the course of 13 days, I still felt that pull of the roots I’ve started here, reminding me that this place that I call “home” now has become so much more.
Although this little project was born from Brooklyn-based guides, I am working to broaden its horizons beyond the borough and to bring my voice and vision to new cities, to find further places to explore, and more inventive ways trouble to get into all over the world. You’re here because you’re curious, and I presume because you like what I have to say. Stay with me. This is just the beginning.
