let’s be honest, beer drinking makes us want to move, but it’s usually a slow, sloppy, completely off-beat tribal type of movement. from a tribe we’ve never met. so let’s leave that up to the professionals, eh? saturday’s event (near!) ps1 in LIC brings us contemporary dancers maya orchin, trina mannino, and meghan frederick, and a showcase of everything they are oh-so-much-better-than-we-are-at. but that absulutely doesn not mean we can’t drink beers and very emphaticaly shimmy (link!) our shoulders in solidarity.homebrewed beers from andrew berman, alex dolginko, and matt frederico, plus a special coffee beer collab with bodega coffee. tickets $25, can be purchased here. the show is 430-730 pm at Green Space, 37-24 24th Street.
