if you stuck around this thanksgiving, do things you always promise yourself you’ll do here but then somehow never do. be a tourist. go watch the sunset on the highline then hit the whitney for its “pay what you wish” hours, fridays 7-10pm. sunset tonight is at 4:31 and the whitney is at 99 Gansevoort St.

thanksgiving weekend carries the tradition of rivalries, across the dinner table and on the football field. watch my alma mater kick some preppy UVA ass this friday night as they reclaim the commonwealth cup for the 14th year in a row. i’m not ashamed to say i’m pretty fucking obsessed with my neighborhood. it’s the best in the city and this city is the best in the world so… well, you can connect the dots. this saturday come out and experience all of the best greenpoint has to offer and support small businesses, and get fresh discounts all over town. the greenpoint fall crawl includes over 20 shops with light bites free drinks and groovy tunes, plus plenty of bars and restaurants to sit and sip in. list of participants here. stop be le fanfare for a cocktail afterwards, made with love by yours truly.
