The Moonlight Mile’s 4th Anniversary Party in Greenpoint
Who says a good thing in this city can’t last? Moonlight Mile, my favorite little local bar in Greenpoint, is celebrating their 4th anniversary this Saturday. They’ve just recently shaken off the scaffolding that was hiding their beautiful exterior from the ‘hood for way too long, and they were just named one of the top 8 places to drink whiskey in the city, so find yourself there. Down more than a few of their carefully-curated whiskey selection. The party goes from 2pm-2am with plenty of drink specials, good times, and good tunes. Info here, 200 Franklin St.
The Roller Wave Roller Disco Party and Playshop at House of Yes in Bushwick
Let’s face it, roller skating is fucking fun. And disco isn’t dead, it’s alive in all of us. Especially when we put on spandex and glitter and a little bit of liquor and four wheels on our feet. Saturday night our beloved House of Yes transforms into a roller rink disco party so boogie on down in your retro-fab looks and Farrah Fawcett hair and then stay for the Playshop after party, which goes until 4. Tickets $20 include skate rental and are available right here. 2 Wyckoff Ave at House of Yes, where they put the sensual in consensual.™
